Snacking, snoozing are luzuries Arjun Kapoor can hardly afford
Eating and catching up on sleep might be routine for many but actor Arjun Kapoor feels that these two activities are luxuries that actors can hardly afford.

He tells CS, `An actor's life is very hectic. On my days off, the only thing I can think of is eating and sleeping. I love to dig into some great food and catch up on sleep.

Travelling is cool only if you have a longer vacation or else chilling out at home is the best thing to do.

My idea of a perfect day off is to gorge on food and watch films back-to-back. However, I don't have any complaints about the lack of holidays; I am a workaholic and happiest on the film sets.`

Actress Mahie Gill, known for her bold avatar in films like "Dev D", "Saheb, Biwi aur Gangster" and "Not A Love Story", stays unfazed by box office collections of her movies.

The actress says that as the films she does are not big budget projects, she is not worried about numbers.

Now Gauri on Sussane`s footsteps

Now Gauri on Sussane`s footsteps

Gauri Khan will soon open a store in South Mumbai and friend Sussane Roshan plans to display her wares there

Three years ago, Sussane Roshan had launched her first decor store in Andheri. Her husband Hrithik Roshan, his family and Sussane's friends and family members had shown their unwavering support to what was her first entrepreneurial venture. The multi-brand store also housed friend and fellow interior designer Gauri Khan's product range.

Interestingly, actor Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri is now gearing up to launch her own lifestyle store. And this time around, the star wife will stock Sussanne's product range.

A source says, `Gauri's store will be located in Lower Parel and it is under construction right now, which is why she is tightlipped about the same. But yes, Sussanne Roshan and Gauri Khan are good friends and the former will be displaying her designer wares at this store.`

Sussane recently launched her new lifestyle store in Bandra along with friends, Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan. The high profile event was a well-attended affair with Gauri and SRK present.

`Details about Gauri's store can't be revealed at this juncture but with this store, she joins the club of star wives who have launched lifestyle stores in the city,` says a source close to both Sussane and Gauri.

When contacted, Sussane confirmed that she would be selling her furniture range at Gauri's store. `Yes, it's true,` was her SMS reply.

Breaking: Kapil Sharma to make debut as lead of Y-Films

One of the biggest names on Television, Kapil Sharma has just signed a 3 film contract with Yash Raj Films. He debuts in a film titled 'Bank-Chor' under their Y-Films (Youth Films Division), which previously made the sleeper hit of last year, 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti'. Along with this, Kapil was also signed on to YRF's Talent Management Wing that handles celebrity endorsements & films.

Of being part of Y-films Kapil said, 'It's a privilege to be part of the YRF family, under their Youth Films Studio, Y-Films. The script of the film is most exciting and I've already started working on the nuances of the character. I always love to watch thrillers and 'Bank-Chor' is a thriller comedy, so it could be better. Before entering to comedy, I've done serious theatre for years. Finally with YRF's vision, I'll be able to do this again after a 12 year break and this script has equal scope of comedy. Hope, it will surely surprise my fans.'

'Bank-Chor' is a comic-caper that tells story of 3 morons trying to rob a bank, and pick the worst day possible when everything that can go wrong, and how they're inadvertently caught in the crossfire of cops, industrialists and corrupt netas. 'Bank-Chor' is directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil and goes on the floors in April this year.

Pallavi Sharda: Too new to compete with Deepika

Pallavi Sharda: Too new to compete with Deepika

Actress Pallavi Kapoor is starring with Ranbir Kapoor and some would've thought it was a perfect launchpad for Pallavi Sharda debuting as a female lead in a film directed by blockbuster director Anubhav Singh Sinha in Besharam. While the film didn't do too well at the BO, the debutante is optimistic and seems unaffected by the fate of her first film. Pallavi, who was in Ahmedabad recently on a promotional trip confidently said, "Since the release of the film, I've been away spending a lot of time in Australia, working on different projects.

So I didn't get affected by the fate of the film. Having said that, I'm happy with the way the film turned out. Now that I am back in India, I'm busy with other films (Pallavi is shooting for a period drama opposite Ayushmann Khurrana). This feels like a new beginning and I am only looking forward from here on."

While there have been a number of new faces entering the Hindi film industry, Pallavi says there is nothing to be scared of the competition as the industry provides enough space and work for every individual. She says, "I don't think being a newcomer means you need to be scared of your contemporaries. We are professionals at the end of the day and there is lots of work for everyone. There are no insecurities. I meet other new comers during award functions and other outings, and it's all good. We meet and have fun, they are all nice. When it comes to more established names like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, though I haven't met them, I really appreciate their work. I am too new to even get into their competitive zone."

But there are rumours that most leading ladies don't share warm work vibes. She quips, "As industry insiders, we don't pay heed to rumours."

Talking about her future plans, Pallavi shares, "I am taking one thing at a time right now. I knew that with names like Ranbir and Rishi Kapoor involved in the same film, I was never going to be in the main focus. It was my childhood dream to do films, and now that I am getting to do that, I am more than happy."
